Sweet Alabama Pecan Bread
A moist, buttery, and nutty Southern classic that’s easy to make and perfect for any occasion!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 ½ cups chopped pecans
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix Wet Ingredients
- In a large bowl, whisk together brown sugar, granulated sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
- Combine Dry Ingredients
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Make the Batter
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until smooth.
- Fold in the chopped pecans.
- Bake
- Pour batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool & Serve
- Let cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
