Ingredients:

  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cups chopped pecans

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients
    • In a large bowl, whisk together brown sugar, granulated sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients
    • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Make the Batter
    • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until smooth.
    • Fold in the chopped pecans.
  5. Bake
    • Pour batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
    • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
